When it comes to being a busy baker, and an even busier parent, it just happens that sometimes some foods get overlooked and even forgotten about in the kitchen. Like when you buy a whole bunch of bananas, eat one, and then forget about the rest until they’ve blackened on the counter in what seems like no time. The same thing happens to families all the time with bread too!

Luckily for us, overripe bananas and even stale (but not spoiled) bread can make some of the yummiest baked recipes, like my Simple Bread Pudding. This scrumptious bread dessert is packed with indulgent flavors and textures for the ultimate comfort food experience! This delectable dish is perfect to use up that stale bread so that it doesn’t go to waste.
